IPL 2021: Dwayne Bravo and Ambati Rayudu’s bond at CSK will give you major friendship goals- Chennai Super Kings allrounder Dwayne Bravo has come up with a reply to his teammate Ambati Rayudu’s question on social media. He assured him that he is alright and currently in India. “Ambati Rayudu. I am here my brother. How are you?” Bravo said, adding, “You’ve been asking when is DJ Bravo going to turn up. So I am here. Okay, my brother.”

The cricketer landed in Mumbai ahead of the CSK’s opening match against Delhi Capitals at Wankhede Stadium on April 10.

Earlier on Saturday, CSK dropped a funny sneak-peak of allrounder Ambati Rayudu’s chat. The right-handed batsman can be seen answering questions regarding his teammate Dwayne Bravo. When he was questioned about Bravo? Rayudu said, “Is he is still playing? I don’t know. I have been trying to reach out to him to ask. He was pretty good at playing cricket. I don’t know where he is right now, what he is doing. I hope he turns up here.”

The duo holds a special friendship bond in the CSK camp which is quite evident from their aftermath celebrations after wickets fall.

“Where Rayu Bravo? The Bromance continues…” tweeted CSK.

CSK had a dismal run in the IPL 2020 as they ended up being placed 7th in the league table. The Chennai-based franchise needs both Rayudu and Bravo to do their best in their bid for IPL 2021 title.

Dwayne Bravo had managed to pick just 6 wickets in 6 matches in IPL 2020. Bravo is one of the top 4 leading wicket-takers in IPL. In his 140 IPL appearances, Bravo has picked 153 wickets. On the other hand, Ambati Rayudu was one of the few players who had fared well in the tournament. He needs 342 runs to complete 4,000 runs in IPL.

Meanwhile, CSK skipper MS Dhoni has doubled his preparations for the upcoming IPL season. Both Bravo and Dhoni may retire from IPL/T20 cricket this year. The 39-year-old needs 368 runs to reach the milestone of 5,000 runs in IPL.
