IPL 2021: From Ravindra Jadeja to Pat Cummins and Prithvi Shaw, Top 10 batsman with best strike rates in IPL so far- The batsmen have taken the IPL 2021 by storm as they are making life hell for the bowlers with their innovative and powerful shots all around the ground. In IPL 2021, we have already seen a batsman scoring 37 runs in an over of a pacer and hitting six balls for consecutive fours. Thus, it is understandable that many batsmen have scored with a greater strike rate. The strike rate is like the heart rate of every T20 team if that goes down, the team goes down. Emphasizing the same fact, many teams have given permission to a specific batsman to smash the ball from the word go.

So, Insidesport takes a look at the batsmen who have the highest strike rate in IPL 2021 (Minimum 75 runs) so far.

Ravindra Jadeja – 184.74

Chennai Super King’s all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is going through one of the best IPL ever. The left-hand batsman smashed the record for scoring the most number of runs in a single IPL over when he scored 37 runs against the bowling of Purple cap holder Harshal Patel. Jadeja has scored 109 runs so far, with a strike rate of 184.74 which is the highest for any batsman in the IPL 2021.

Pat Cummins – 166.07

Kolkata Knight Riders’ bowling all-rounder Pat Cummins is the second on the list of highest strike rate of IPL 2021 so far. The Australian has scored 93 runs so far which also includes a fifty. Batting in KKR’s lower order Pat has smashed eight sixes and five fours in IPL 2021. KKR’s middle-order failure is the prime reason why Pat finds himself on this list.

Prithvi Shaw – 165.03

Delhi Capitals’ Prithvi Shaw is third on the list with 165 as his strike rate. After a magnificent domestic season, Shaw has managed to pull his purple patch a bit longer. In IPL 2021, Shaw has scored 269 runs with the help of 34 fours and nine sixes.

AB de Villiers – 164.28

It is just impossible to talk about batting stats in IPL and not take AB de Villiers name. Royal Challenger Bangalore’s finisher is in fine form and is one of the vital reason behind RCB being in the top four after seven matches. ABD has scored 207 in IPL 2021 with the help of two fifties and has hit 16 fours and 10 sixes.

Moeen Ali – 155.78

Another CSK batsman finds himself in this list as Moeen Ali has a strike rate of 155.78. Ali has scored 148 with the help of 17 boundaries and seven sixes in IPL 2021. Ali’s form is one reason behind CSK’s extended stay at the top of the points table.

Andre Russell – 155.23

It would not be fair to talk about the strike rate and not talk about Andre Russell. The KKR all-rounder found it difficult to get going in the first few matches of the season however he has still managed to score 163 runs which include a fifty. The West Indies power hitter has smashed 12 fours and 13 sixes in IPL 2021.

Devdutt Padikkal – 152.34

This is the first and only uncapped player on the list. Devdutt Padikkal has been one of the best young talents for Virat Kohli’s RCB. Last year the left-hand batsman had a breakthrough season but was criticised by many for his slow strike rate. However, this year he has changed the fortune and is playing freely.

Sanju Samson – 145.85

Rajasthan Royals’ captain Sanju Samson showed a glimpse of form in the first half of the season where he scored a magnificent century. However, his efforts went in vain as he could not help his side cross the line. Sanju has so far scored 229 runs in six games with the help of 22 fours and 9 sixes.

Suryakumar Yadav – 145.29

After having a cracking season last year, Suryakumar Yadav is looking to continue on the same path this year with 170 runs in six games so far. The talisman is given the responsibility to bat in top order and he is taking it head-on. The right-hand batsman has so far hit 22 fours and five sixes.

Glenn Maxwell – 144.80

Ever since Glenn Maxwell entered the RCB dressing room, the Australian powerhouse has changed the mood of the team. Maxwell has played some sensible yet distractive innings in IPL 2021. The Big Show has scored 223 with the help of two fifty-plus scores. He has hit 21 fours and 10 sixes so far.
