The right-hand batsman slammed Kolkata Knight Riders speedster Pat Cummins out of the park as he executed a superb shot to bring up fifty in IPL. He walked across his stumps and picked it up over Long On which landed on the top tier of the MA Chidambaram Stadium. This shocked a lot of players in the vicinity but it was Hardik Pandya, his colleague, who was absolutely taken aback by the sheer magnanimous nature of it.
Manish Pandey – 96.00
Sunrisers Hyderabad batsman Manish Pandey smashed a 96m six in SRH’s second game against Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Washington Sundar. Pandey hit the ball out of the park on the fourth delivery on the seventh over. He was eagerly waiting to break the shackles and he finally got a chance to get under the ball and whack it for a maximum. It was his pure strength that enabled him to hit the bowl that far.
Abdul Samad – 93.00
There is a reason why cricket experts get so excited while talking about the talented Abdul Samad. He has proved himself as a big hitter time and again. The right-hand batsman hit a 93m six in against Pat Cummins which is why he is third on the list. In SRH’s first match this season, Samad impressed everyone with his hard-hitting ability. It was the 18th over of the second innings which saw Samad take Australia pacer Cummins. He hit him for two sixes in the over, one of which included a 93m six.
Ambati Rayudu – 93.00
Playing against arch-rivals Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings Ambati Rayudu went all guns blazing. In order to give his side a perfect finish, Ambati played a magnificent innings. At the start of his innings, he played a pull shot against MI spinner Rahul Chahar which was a 93 metres six. He scored 72* runs from 27 balls. It was absolute carnage while the batsman was on the crease. It was his knock that propelled Chennai to a first-innings score of 218 for 4 in their 20 overs.
Sanju Samson – 91.00
Rajasthan Royals newly appointed captain Sanju Samson played a gem of an innings against Punjab Kings. He became the first batsman in IPL 2021 to hit a century. In that magnificent innings, he hit Riley Meredith for a six which went as long as 91 meters. Samson just flicked a quick ball from Riley and the ball went straight out of the middle of the bat. However, Sanju’s century could not help his side win the game.
