The 28-year-old also continued his top run against Virat Kohli-led RCB scoring an unbeaten 284 runs in 3 matches. His contribution helped Punjab Kings defeat RCB by 34 runs to jump 5th in IPL 2021 points table.

IPL Orange Cap – KL Rahul overtakes Shikhar Dhawan: KL Rahul completed his fifty off just 35 balls. He also shared an 80-run partnership with Chris Gayle (46) for the second wicket. He went on to score 91 runs off just 57 balls which featured 7 fours and 5 sixes to guide Punjab Kings to 179/5 in 20 overs.
KL Rahul has now scored 284 runs against Royal Challengers Bangalore WITHOUT being dismissed.
NOTE: Punjab Kigs won all three games.
While other players were getting dismissed like a pack of cards, KL Rahul ensured that he kept on scoring runs from the other end.
