IPL 2021: Maxwell confident of getting RCB maiden IPL title- Australian star Glenn Maxwell, who was sold at an incredible 14.25cr last night at the IPL Auction 2021 expressed his excitement after being picked by Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Maxwell will head to RCB for IPL 2021 as the Big Show will add firepower to the RCB batting unit and is confident he could help RCB win their 1st title this year.

Royal Challengers Bangalore took to their official Instagram handle to share the video message of their new recruit Glenn Maxwell and captioned it “Here’s a special message for you 12th Man Army. We can’t wait to see you don the red and gold, Maxi! #PlayBold #ClassOf2021 #WeAreChallengers.”

A middle-order of captain Kohli, AB de Villiers and Maxwell could give opposition teams sleepless nights. Maxwell also said that he was looking forward to playing under Virat Kohli and alongside his idol AB de Villiers in IPL 2021.

“It has been great to see all support and all the excitement ahead of this IPL. Looking forward to playing under Virat Kohli, playing with AB de Villiers as well. Couple of my friends Adam Zampa, Kane Richardson and my old friend Yuzvendra Chahal. Looking forward to really now those guys and hitting this IPL full steam ahead and getting RCB to win their 1st title this year,” Maxwell said in the video.
