IPL 2021: MS Dhoni’s old picture of playing gully cricket shared by wife Sakshi, Fans get nostalgic – Former India captain and Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni is spending some family time with daughter Ziva Dhoni and wife Sakshi Dhoni as the IPL 2021 was postponed due to increasing cases of COVID-19 in India and breach of bio-bubble created for IPL by BCCI.

As Dhoni has retired from international cricket, IPL is the only media for MSD fans to see him as MS hardly use his social media handles. But for fans relief, MS Dhoni’s wife likes sharing photos and videos of MS on her social media handles. Sakshi on Thursday posted a throwback picture of Dhoni from 2009, where he can be seen playing gully cricket with kids.

She wrote on Instagram, “Blast from the past ! Why did you guys grow up ?🙈 2009.”

MSD fans starting commenting on the photo as soon as it got uploaded.

CSK’s team manager Russell Radhakrishnan wrote,” I still remember.”

CSK in IPL 2021

After an unsuccessful season in IPL 2020, CSK came back strong in IPL 2021 winning five games in the first phase. In their first match of the season, they faced defeat against Delhi Capitals. But MS Dhoni lead side bounced back and won five games on the trot against Punjab Kings (PBKS), Rajasthan Royals (RR), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Then CSK played a thrilling match against archrivals Mumbai Indians where they faced their second defeat of the season.
