IPL 2021: Suryakumar Yadav is back to where he belongs, at Mumbai Indians where he made his name and got his maiden national team call-up recently. With IPL 2021 less than a week away, Suryakumar hit the MI nets and found his rhythm in Chennai. In a video clip posted on Twitter by MI on Saturday, the Mumbai batsman was seen taking on bowlers with ease. As it seems, he has carried on his form in the England series.
“Firstly, it feels really great to be back with MI family. I was really looking forward to have a good net session, good first net session because it’s important how you start before the tournament,” Suryakumar Yadav said in the video.

The Mumbai batsman was crucial in Mumbai Indians’ fifth IPL title last season as he scored 480 runs with an impressive average of 40.00 in 16 games. When the top order fell, he was MI’s man-Friday to take the innings forward and win them the matches. Furthermore, it’s his consistency that has been key for Mumbai.
His consistency was rewarded with a place in the India T20I team against England and he returned the favour with a brilliant knock of 57 off 31 balls on his international batting debut, against England in the 4th T20I in Ahmedabad.
Ahead of the 1st match in IPL 2021 against Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 9 in Chennai, MI will be banking on him once again and as it seems, SKY is ready to hit the roads again. “I am really happy with the way things went in the nets today and very excited to ahead in the IPL,” Suryakumar Yadav said.
Apart from Suryakumar, Dhawal Kulkarni, Piyush Chawla, and Chris Lynn amongst others were seen sweating it out at the MI nets in Chennai.
