He held the ground for CSK while MI bowlers keep taking wickets from the other end. The 24-year-old dominated the likes of Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah as he took CSK to 156/6 in allotted 20 overs. At one stage, CSK were crumbling at 24/4 after 6 overs.

Rules for IPL 2021 Orange Cap
- The Orange Cap is offered to the leading run-scorer of the season.
- The batsman with the most runs in the tournament during the season would wear the Orange Cap while in the field.
- In case of a tie, the batsman with a better strike rate is awarded the Orange Cap.
- The Orange Cap owner who is fielding is allowed to wear the Orange Cap till the end of the innings even if an opposition batsman has overtaken his runs.
