IPL 2021 Players Auction: Dawid Malan once again proves why he will be the biggest target for franchises

IPL 2021 Players Auction – Dawid Malan: English batsman Dawid Malan will be a hot target at the Indian Premier League 2021 auctions and the World No.1 batsman proved why so. On Saturday, he clobbered 75 in 56 balls to help Hobart Hurricanes beat Melbourne Stars in a Big Bash League fixture. Interestingly, it was his first fifty of the season. The highlight of his quickfire innings was a six which a fan caught in his beer.

The 33-year-old will be on every teams’ radar and might even become the most expensive player, currently held by Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) Pat Cummins. And it is rightly so. Malan on Wednesday created history by attaining the highest-ever rating points for batsmen in the ICC Men’s T20I Player Rankings.

BCCI is reportedly planning to hold a mega auction before the start of IPL 2021 season in April-May and it will see the franchises going all-in to revamp their respective sides.
