Liam Livingstone is in a great form. Called up for the Pakistan series, he slammed a 43-ball 103 in the first T20I. The 27-year-old scored the fastest 50 and 100 by an English batsman and also became the first player to reach three figures against Pakistan in international T20s. His feat in the 1st T20 was lauded by everyone including captain Eoin Morgan and coach Paul Collingwood who is coaching the side as Chris Silverwood is rested. In The Hundred, he finished as the top scorer with 348 runs in nine innings. He had a strike rate of 178.46 during the tournament.
Livingstone is one of the most destructive players in the world in T20 cricket, having amassed runs across five different leagues including the Big Bash League and the PSL. His 100 against Pakistan was a testament to his great skills and his versatility makes him an asset for any side he plays for.
