IPL 2021: Rajasthan Royals’ Rahul Tewatia appeals for help as friend’s mother infected with COVID-19- Rajasthan Royals talismanic all-rounder Rahul Tewatia has appealed on Twiter for help. His friend’s mother has been infected with COVID-19 but is finding it hard to procure the medicine which is required for the treatment.
Remedesivir is one of the most important medicines which is being used to tackle COVID-19. However, there is a shortage of the same in India currently.
Rahul took to Twitter to share the details about his friend’s mother. He also revealed that she is in urgent need of remedesivir drug. Tewatia also posted a prescription of the IBS Ashwani Hospital in UP’s Faridabad. Many people commented on the post with numbers and other details of people who might help in the crisis situation.
He wrote: “My friend’s mom needs remedesivir urgently as the doctors have said she isn’t safe. Please help”

The country has been hit by the second wave of Corona Virus and the cases are rapidly increasing. Delhi went under lockdown while Maharashtra is planning to impose the lockdown.
Meanwhile, Tewatia is in Mumbai with his IPL team Rajasthan Royals. RR won one game out of three and are placed 7th in the points table. RR will play Royal Challengers Bangalore in Wankhede Stadium on Thursday.
