IPL 2021: Rajasthan Royals yet to sign a title sponsor, other IPL teams sitting at 100% sold inventory

IPL 2021 – Rajasthan Royals Title Sponsor: Rajasthan Royals is the only IPL team yet to have a title sponsor for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 season. The inaugural champions are in talks with various top brands but are yet to finalise a deal. A top RR official said they have almost finalised the deal and will make the announcement before the end of the month.

We are still in talks with various brands and will make it official by next week,” the official privy with the information told InsideSport.co

Last year, TV9 Bharat was Rajasthan Royals title sponsor for the season but according to the information available with InsideSport, the network & the IPL team this year could not agree a deal owing to commercial expectation mismatch.

Rajasthan, so far, has 12 sponsors for IPL 2021 season. The franchise has Jio and Kei Wires and Cables as their Principal sponsor, while Studds and Colgate are its Associate Sponsor. Kingfisher, Dream11, BKT Tires, and Kotak will be their official partners.

IPL 2021: Jofra Archer unavailability for first half of IPL 2021, another big headache for Royals

Title sponsor is not the only headache faced by Rajasthan Royals. The Royals are also under pressure because of non-availability of Jofra Archer in the first phase of IPL. The England pacer is likely to miss the first half of IPL due to an elbow injury. His IPL 2021 future will be decided after an investigation by England Cricket Board’s medical officer.
