IPL 2021: RCB Travel Plans to UAE, Replacements, New Head Coach, Full Squads – All you need to know: The second leg of IPL 2021 will begin from September 19 in UAE. With Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians already in UAE, having begin their preparations, the rest of the franchises have started fastening their travels plans and logistics for the desert country.

RCB’s UAE Travel

RCB will leave for the UAE on August 29 to begin preparations for their remainder of IPL 2021. The group will assemble in Bengaluru by August 21 and will undergo 7 days of quarantine.

The team will then leave for UAE via a charter flight. Upon arriving in Dubai, they will further undergo 6-day quarantine. In the desert country, they will be joined by Head Coach Mike Hesson and other foreign players. Skipper Virat Kohli will be arriving after completing the England series days before IPL 2021 Phase 2 starts on September 19.

New Head Coach: Mike Hesson takes over as RCB coach

RCB’s coach Simon Katich has stepped down from the role ahead of the UAE leg of IPL 2021 citing personal reasons. Mike Hesson, who has been working as the Director of Cricket Operations, has taken over as the head coach for the remainder of IPL 2021.

3 Big Changes to the IPL 2021 Squad

Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore have named three big changes to their squad for the remainder of IPL 2021 in UAE. Australia’s Adam Zampa and Daniel Sams are unavailable for the second leg of IPL 2021 along with New Zealand’s Finn Allen. Sri Lankan leg-spinner Wanindu Hasaranga has replaced Adam Zampa, Sri Lanka’s Dushmantha Chameera has replaced Daniel Sams, and Australia’s Tim David has replaced Finn Allen.
