IPL 2021: RCB’s Mohammad Siraj shares heart-melting post for late father on Eid, says, ‘Miss you Papa’; See Pics- Royal Challengers Bangalore and India pace spearhead Mohammad Siraj posted an emotional message for his late father. Siraj shared a couple of pictures with his mother, late father and brother on social media and wrote a few lines dedicated to his late father on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. ”EID UL FITR MUBARAK, Maa baap saath ho tou har din Eid jaisa hota hai aur na ho tou EID ka din bhi udaas dikhta hai. Miss you Pappa, ” he stated on Instagram.

IPL 2021: RCB’s Mohammad Siraj shares heart-melting post for late father on Eid

In the last six months, Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj has changed his fortune and became the lead pacer for India in Test cricket while became a much-improved bowler in T20 cricket. He displayed his skills in IPL 2021 playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Siraj lost his father at the start of India’s tour of Australia. Siraj decided to stay with the team and continue training in Australia. He later revealed that the support from the captain and his teammates kept him motivated during those trying times.

In a recent interview, Siraj described how shattered he was after losing his father and how India captain Virat Kohli encouraged him during tough times.

“I had lost my father during the Australia series. I was shattered and not really in my senses. It was Virat bhaiya who gave me strength and support. I owe my career to Virat. Virat has supported me through thick and thin. He has always been there for me in all circumstances. I remember how I was crying in the hotel room. Virat bhaiya came to my room and hugged me tightly and said ‘I am with you, don’t worry’. Those words encouraged me a lot. He played just one Test on the tour but his messages and calls motivated me,” Siraj told The Times of India.
