Jos Buttler’s masterful 124-run knock was followed by a spirited bowling performance as Rajasthan Royals (RR) defeated SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 55 runs in an Indian Premier League (IPL) encounter at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday.

With this win, Rajasthan has moved to the fifth spot with 6 points from 7 games.

Buttler has now jumped to top 10 in the IPL 2021 Orange Cap table with 260 runs in 7 matches.

“It is certainly up there, it is my first hundred in T20 cricket. I am delighted, I would say that I did not fill my fluent self throughout, I have certainly felt better at the crease for a while now, I have been searching for something, everyday is a new opportunity. Really enjoyed today, nice to spend some time in the middle and get back to my best,” said Buttler during a virtual post-match news conference.

Jos Buttler and Rajasthan Royals will next feature against Delhi Capitals on May 8.
