IPL 2021 Star Sports – MS Dhoni Rockstar: Star Sports has always been very innovative and creative with their IPL campaigns. The official broadcaster in the IPL 2021 campaign had shown Dhoni as a ‘MONK with his head shaved’
Not only the campaign got registered big time but Dhoni’s acting skills also became talk of the campaign. The ‘cool and calm’ headed CSK skipper was guised as a spiritual guru. He was seen telling the students it’s okay to have anger if it helps you succeed, citing Kohli’s example. Similarly, he also spoke ‘greed is also cool’ if it helps you win titles, – Rohit Sharma-led MI’s example.

The 14th season, which was postponed in May this year in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, will resume on September 19 in Dubai with a blockbuster clash between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians.
The action will then shift to Abu Dhabi where Kolkata Knight Riders will square off against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Sharjah will host its first game on September 24 when Royal Challengers Bangalore take on Chennai Super Kings. In all, 13 matches will be held in Dubai, 10 in Sharjah, and 8 in Abu Dhabi.
