IPL 2021 Suspended: CSK’s Suresh Raina enjoys cooking at home, shares video – Chennai Super Kings batsman Suresh Raina reached home as the IPL 2021 get suspended due to rising cases of COVID-19 in India. The decision was taken after over half of the match in the 14th season were played between eight teams. Raina who reached his home in Ghaziabad posted a video of cooking in his kitchen on  Instagram.

Raina posted a video with singer Justin Bieber’s Intentions song playing in the background.

Raina wrote, “kadhi time – Didi’s secret recipe. #blessed #countyourblessings #stayhome #staysafe.”

After reuniting with his family, Raina has been spending some quality time with his wife Priyanka and kids Gracia and Rio at their luxurious Rs 18 Crore mansion in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Raina resides in Raj Nagar, one of the poshest areas in Ghaziabad. His cottage-like home is urban and contemporary. The house reflects Raina’s taste for crisp design.

Earlier this week, In a tweet post, Raina wrote, “This isn’t a joke anymore! So many lives at stake & never felt so helpless in life. No matter how much we want to help, but we are literally running out of resources. Every single person of this country deserves a salute right for standing by each other to save lives! #WeCandoit.”

Raina, who is called Mr IPL by cricket fans, scored 123 runs in seven games in IPL 2021. Raina scored a fifty in his comeback match for CSK in IPL 2021 after pulling out of IPL 2020. His batting strike rate was 126.80. The southpaw had hit 8 sixes and 9 fours in IPL 2021.

IPL 2021 Suspended

The Indian Premier League Governing Council (IPL GC) and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in an emergency meeting unanimously decided to postpone IPL 2021 season, with immediate effect on Tuesday. The BCCI does not want to compromise on the safety of the players, support staff and the other participants involved in organising the IPL. This decision was taken keeping the safety, health and wellbeing of all the stakeholders in mind. The BCCI has admitted that it will do everything in its powers to arrange for the secure and safe passage of all the participants in IPL 2021.
