IPL 2021: Top 5 Highest Paid Players of Delhi Capitals in Indian Premier League 2021: The resurgence of the Delhi Capitals in the last couple of years has been phenomenal and noteworthy. With a strong Indian core and a young leader, the team has climbed up in the league. Until 2019, the then Delhi Daredevils were languishing at the bottom of the pile. They were struggling to find the best bunch of players and a leader. If we take a look in hindsight, to be successful in IPL, one needs to have a strong Indian core and this is what Delhi’s management sought to look after. They have gone to invest a big chunk of their purse in these youth players in the hope that these players will bring laurels to the franchise.

The Delhi Daredevils recruitment camp was on its toes to add the young batsman in its rank. The Delhi Capitals are now reaping the benefits of investing in the youth. Capitals will be once again hoping that Rishabh Pant fires in IPL 2021.

Shreyas Iyer since then never looked back and led his team like a boss. His IPL performances also fetched him the coveted cap of India and is now a regular part of the national side in the limited-overs format.

Although with an already set heavy top-order, Rahane couldn’t sneak into the playing XI most of the time. Also, he did not have much to talk about his performances in the games where he did get a chance to play. He looked completely pale but will be hoping to bounce back stronger especially after some runs under his belt in the Test matches.
