IPL 2021: Virat Kohli-led RCB creates multiple records in their 10 wickets win over Rajasthan Royals; check out– Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore on Thursday created a plethora of records in their 10 wickets victory over Sanju Samson’s RR. The main architect of the victory were Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal. While Kohli smashed 72 runs off just 47 balls, Padikkal smashed 101 off just 52 deliveries. The duo smashed as many as 17 fours and nine sixes in the RCB innings. The duo also went past Chris Gayle and Tillakaratne Dilshan to bring up their highest opening partnership in IPL history.

Chasing 178, Padikkal and Kohli displayed an amazing show with the bat as both the openers took RCB across the line in 16.3 overs.

In the match, the RCB skipper also became the first batsman to complete 6,000 runs in the IPL.
