IPL 2021: CSK shares a glimpse of MS Dhoni’s huge sixes from training camp ahead of IPL season- Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni is in full flow with the bat at nets as the yellow army begins training session ahead of IPL 2021. Ahead of the upcoming season, former India captain MS Dhoni is gearing up for his best.

In a video, shared by the CSK, MS Dhoni can be seen hitting huge sixes in the training session that will leave you mesmerized. “Mahi way all the way!!! #Thala #WhistlePodu #Yellove” Chennai Super Kings captioned the tweet post.

Fans will be hoping to see Dhoni smash balls out of the park in IPL 2021 as it could be his last season in a cash-rich league.

Also known as ‘the Dad’s army’, CSK is one of the first franchises in IPL to hit the nets. This is due to the presence of veteran players who have retired from their national side.

When the IPL 2021 season will kick off in April, MS Dhoni will be aiming to win the silverware for the fourth time in his IPL career.

CSK would like to forget the IPL 2020 failure in UAE and start afresh. MS Dhoni, in particular, had also failed to put in key performances with the bat. The 39-year-old managed just 200 runs in 14 matches at a strike rate of 116.

Dhoni’s overall stats are very impressive; he has scored 4,632 runs in the Indian Premier League. It includes 23 half-centuries at a strike rate of 136. The right-handed batsman would like to score as many runs as possible in IPL 2021 and reach the 5,000 runs landmark.

CSK will play their opening IPL 2021 match against Delhi Capitals (DC) on April 10 at Wankhede Stadium. No teams will play on their home grounds.
