The ICC’s emerging player of the year at the 2019 ICC Awards, Rishabh Pant has shown the rapid growth in his IPL commercial scorecard across his journey to the 12th season of the Indian Premier League.
The wicketkeepers batsman has been retained by the revamped Delhi Capitals for INR 8cr salary contract for the 12th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL). The IPL 2019 will be kick start from 23rd March and Delhi Capitals will start their campaign for this season against the Kings XI Punjab on the second day of the tournament.

The Southpaw was bought by the Delhi Daredevils in the 2016 Indian Premier League (IPL) auction. He made his maiden IPL half-century off 25 balls. In the 2017 season, he scored 97 runs in 43 balls against the Gujarat Lions in Delhi on 4 May.
In last May, during the 2018 Indian Premier League, Rishabh Pant scored 128 not out from 63 balls against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, making the second highest individual score by an Indian cricketer in a Twenty20 match.
