The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has spread worldwide, affecting the lives of over 7.5 million people, and spreading across 213 countries. With the coronavirus Pandemic Global Crisis has Severly affected lives.there are many who continue to suffer from hunger and poverty due to the devastating effect the economy has faced amid the nationwide lockdown.

Irfan Pathan came to know about the plight of Bhaskaran after reading an article in ESPNcricinfo and from there on he called the cobbler himself after arranging his number. Initially, Irfan failed to reach him but he did not give up and reached Bhaskaran finally.

Irfan succeeded and deposited Rs 25,000 to his account; an amount he usually makes during an IPL season. Bhaskaran was quoted as saying by the Indian Express, “Last week Irfan Pathan sent some money (Rs 25,000). I bought groceries for the family. Since there was no work, I had borrowed money and have to pay it back. I don’t know how I will survive. If cricket doesn’t return soon, I will be gone.”

Irfan’s former teammate Dinesh Karthik also took note of the incident and wrote on his official twiiter handle “Special stuff @IrfanPathan. Well done and to many more such small deeds of generosity from everyone. Sweet of you @RaunakRK to bring up to light such positive stuff as well during these grim times.”
