ISL 2020-21 Two time ISL winner Chennaiyin FC beat Jamshedpur 2-1- A good win for last season’s finalists as they kick start their campaign by bagging all three points. After dominating the first half and ending it on 2-1. CFC were strong in the second half and created more chances than their counterpart.
Jamshedpur FC themselves created a few good opportunities to equalize in the second half. But both sides’ shooting boots were found to be missing in the second 45. The designated home side were made to pay for it as the Super Machans have got off to an ideal start.
Anirudh Thapa gets the ‘Hero of the Match’ award as he becomes the first Indian player to score a goal in the 2020-21 season of ISL.

Chennaiyin, on the other hand, have replaced Coyle with Hungarian Csaba Laszlo, and have undertaken somewhat of a rebuild, with five new foreigners in the squad this season.
