ISL Final: Defending champions ATK Mohun Bagan will take on Mumbai City FC in the ISL 2020-21 final at the Fatorda Stadium on Saturday. Both ATKMB and MCFC have followed a similar trajectory on the road to the final, securing 40 points each in the league stage, winning 12 games each.

If Mumbai City FC are the league stage winners and will play their first ISL final, three-time champions ATK (now ATK Mohun Bagan) are no strangers to the summit clash. After missing out on the AFC Champions League slot to Mumbai City, they will look to retain the title. Thus, it is expected to be a tough clash with attacking football from the word-go and some of the star players on both sides will be the ones to look out for in the ISL 2020-21 Final.

Roy Krishna (ATKMB): The best player in the league for the last two seasons, the Fijian international has been ATK Mohun Bagan’s top recruit. With 29 goals and 13 assists so far in the ISL, the former A-League star has dominated the league. This time, he is again the league’s top-scorer with 14 goals. But it is not just his goal-scoring acumen that has attracted fans. It is his attacking prowess. He tears through the opponent defence with his pace and skills. After drawing a blank in the semifinals, he would look to overcome Mumbai City in the final.

David Williams (ATKMB): Bagan’s other pillar in the attack, the former Australian international has been a constant presence in the team’s attack. Along with Krishna, he has made the Bagan attack a fearsome unit. The winger scored in each of the semifinals, adding to his tally of five goals and two assists in the season. A lot will depend on him to penetrate the Mumbai defence and overcome Mourtada Fall.
