Reliance Jio Communication will be among the three Principal Sponsors for the Kings XI Punjab for the Indian Premier League Season 11.
Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries-owned brand, Jio is the eighth and last sponsor to come on board for the KXIP. Reliance strategically has decided to make marketing investments on all the eight IPL teams this year.
India’s fastest-growing mobile network brand, Reliance last season had an association with seven of the eight IPL franchisees. Kings XI Punjab then was the only missing link.
Insidesport.co had revealed last month that how Reliance Jio was targeting a pan-India presence by associating with all the eight IPL teams.
The Kings XI Punjab management, having closed all its sponsorship sales more than three weeks prior to the IPL 2018 kick-off on April 7, has termed this as the financially best ever year for KPH Dream Cricket Private Limited – the franchise owners of KXIP.
The team has got 10 sponsorship and two partnership associations for the season. Kent RO has replaced Hero Cycles as the title sponsors.
The principal sponsor category includes two female brands – Lotus Herbal and detergent Fena – along with Reliance Jio, which replaces Idea 4G in the mobile network category.
Royal Stags, Finolex Cables, Manyavar, Tecno, Surya LEC, and Cashier are the official partners. T10 Sports is the official kitting partner while mouth freshener brand Tic Tac has signed as the official refreshment partner.
