Just before Pakistan vs South Africa 2nd T20 goes live, Pakistan cricketers in huge war of words

PAK vs SA T20 Live – As Pakistan wicket-keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan’s is getting ready to take on the visiting South Africa in 2nd T20 clash tonite, he has got caught up in war of words by few Pakistan cricketers. After Rizwan hit a century in the 1st T20 Match, Mohammed Hafeez had taken a veiled dig at former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed dragging Rizwan in the controversy.

Instead of keeping it limited to Rizwan’s appreciation, Hafeez had tweeted, “I wonder how long you will need to prove that you are the number one wicketkeeper-batsman in Pakistan in all formats of the game.”, taking dig at Sarfaraz.

After sitting on that tweet for almost two days, Sarfaraz, in the wee hours of Saturday,

“Hafeez bhai Sb, whoever has played for Pakistan from Imtiaz Ahmed, Wasim Bari, Tasleem Arif to Saleem Yousuf and from Moin Khan, Rashid Latif to Kamran Akmal and even Rizwan right now has always been number ONE for the country and have been respected accordingly,” he tweeted.

“We expect nothing but positiveness coming from an international player who has played so many games for Pakistan.”

Now retired fast bowler Mohammad Amir has come out in support of Sarfaraz Ahmed in the former skipper’s Twitter tiff with veteran all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez.
Amir, who has a history with Hafeez dating back to the latter’s opposition of Amir’s rehabilitation back into the national fold, weighed in after Sarfaraz hit out at Hafeez for rubbing current Pakistan wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan’s success in Sarfaraz’s face.

“Babu you are also a number one wicketkeeper- batsman in Pakistan and you were the captain in whose leadership the team was number one in T20,” Amir wrote.

“On top of everything was the Champions Trophy so you are the pride of Pakistan. Big respect. People just have to say things so enjoy bro.”

In middle of all these war of words – only 1 man is getting embarrassed – Mohammed Rizwan. Will it affect his performance today in the 2nd T20 – only time will tell.
