La Liga: Real Madrid issues ultimatum to PSG- The La Liga side is rumored to be getting impatient with Paris Saint-Germain and said to have issued an ultimatum to the French Giants. Real Madrid has been heavily linked to sign French star Kylian Mbappe from the Persian outfit this summer but is finding PSG to be an increasingly difficult team to deal with.
Los Blancos is said to submit an improved offer for Mbappe after the Frech club rejecting their first proposal. Real Madrid was rumored to have placed a bid in the region of 170 million euros which would see PSG pocket an additional 10 m euros in add-ons last Thursday. However, the La Liga outfit is still waiting on a response from PSG.
Reports from Le Parisien suggest that PSG has received an ultimatum from Real Madrid directors with the Spanish side looking for an answer regarding their bid. Los Blancos are demanding that PSG should accept their offer by the end of this week.
Mbappe, who is currently in his last year of contract has been seeking a departure from Parc Des Prince this season.PSG was keen to keep hold of the 22-year-old and made multiple offers to the Frenchman including a six-figure salary and various bonuses.
However, Mbappe seems set to leave France and move to Real Madrid this summer. He is also rumored to want the resolved before Monday with Mbappe set to go on national duty with the French team soon. The youngster has been called up by Didier Deschamps to feature in the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers starting in the first week of September.
Just like Mbappe, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez also wants to complete the signing as soon as possible. Thet will go all out this season to land Mbappe as Perez wants PSG to either accept the bid or not. If the French giants opt against accepting Real Madrid’s bid, then Los Blancos are will look to agree upon a pre-contract agreement with Mbappe in January.
With Mbappe likely to be in the final six months of his current contract next year, the Frenchman will be open to conduct discussions with Real Madrid and join them free before the start of the 2022-23 season.
