Global sports marketing agency Lagardère Sports has established a partnership with one of the biggest Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) federations in the world – KSW. As their exclusive marketing partner, Lagardère Sports Poland will be responsible for attracting corporate sponsors and merchandising business packages for MMA Gala.
KSW (Martial Arts Confederation) has been shaping and influencing the history of Polish MMA for over 15 years by organising the most recognizable galas in Europe. The Federation promotes the discipline and shapes its sports stars. Recently, KSW has achieved significant success, selling almost 58,000 tickets for attendance at the KSW 39: Colosseum at PGE National in Warsaw, the second largest MMA gala in the world in terms of attendance and staging the first MMA events abroad in Ireland and England.
The agency will support KSW Federation with sponsorship strategy development and implementation of innovative marketing solutions aimed at acquiring new commercial partners leveraging the popularity of the discipline and the opportunity of interacting with KSW fans both at galas and during television broadcasts. Lagardère Sports is extending the footprint of mixed martial arts through broadcast distribution and as a result KSW gala will be available on TV channels in several countries around the world, which will naturally contribute to the growth of its brand’s value. Lagardère Sports will sell sponsorship and marketing packages at KSW gala in Poland and abroad.

Colosseum’ record Gala in May 2017 at the National PGE stadium gathered almost 58 thousand spectators, placing in the top three in terms of audience on sports events taking place in Poland nowadays. Additional millions of people watched the show in front of the screens – battles were broadcasted in 36 countries, whereas online broadcast was available on 4 continents. The event confirmed the international position of the KSW – it was the second largest MMA event in the world sport history. Our further strategy is clear: we focus on the international expansion.
