Messi is currently technically a free agent and can be roped in by any club who could offer him the wages he wants. “We want him to stay, Leo wants to stay and we are looking for the best formula,” Laporta said.
He went on to add, “We would like it to be concluded as quickly as possible but we know it will take time.”
