Live Cricket Score IND vs NZ WTC Final live: At stumps on Day Three, New Zealand’s score reads 101/2 with Williamson (12*) and Ross Taylor (0*) unbeaten at the crease. The Kiwis are still trailing India by 116 runs. Resuming the third session on Day Three at 36/0, New Zealand openers Latham and Conway continued from where they left off and the duo frustrated the Indian bowling attack. The 70-run opening stand finally came to an end in the 35th over as Ravichandran Ashwin dismissed Latham (30), who played far away from his body, and just managed to hand a simple catch to the skipper Virat Kohli.

Skipper Kane Williamson then joined Conway in the middle and the duo kept on ticking the scoreboard slowly and steadily. Both batters put on 31 runs for the second wicket, but the stand finally came to an end in the 49th over as Ishant Sharma sent Conway (54) back to the pavilion, reducing New Zealand to 101/2.

Taylor then joined Williamson in the middle and the duo ensured that New Zealand did not lose more wickets before the close of play. Bad light once again played spoilsport and early stumps were called on Day Three.

Live Cricket Score IND vs NZ WTC Final live: Earlier, Kyle Jamieson continued his impressive Test career, bagging his fifth fifer in just the 8th Test as New Zealand bowled out India for 217 in the 1st innings of the World Test Championship Final at the Hampshire Bowl in Southampton on Sunday. At lunch break on Day Three, India’s score read 211/7 with Ravindra Jadeja (15*) and Ishant Sharma (2*) at the crease. In the first session, Virat Kohli (44), Rishabh Pant (4), Ajinkya Rahane (49), and Ravichandran Ashwin (22) were all sent back to the pavilion. The start of play on Day Three was delayed by thirty minutes due to a wet outfield. Resuming Day Three at 146/3, India got off to the worst start possible as Kyle Jamieson had Kohli (44) adjudged leg-before wicket in the 68th over and as a result, India was reduced to 149/4 and Pant came out to the middle.

However, Pant (4) failed to leave an impression with the bat as he was sent back to the pavilion by Jamieson. Pant threw his bat outside off and he just managed to get an edge, handing a simple catch to Tom Latham. Neil Wagner employed his short ball tactic brilliantly and this led to the downfall of Rahane (49) and India was reduced to 182/6.

Ashwin played a quickfire knock of 22 runs off just 27 balls but his cameo was ended by Tim Southee and this brought Ishant Sharma to the middle. Ishant and Jadeja then ensured that India did not lose more wickets before the lunch break.
