French fashion brand Louis Vuitton has partnered with the National Basketball Association. The date for a formal announcement is reportedly confirmed and invitations for the event are despatched.
French media has widely reported about the high profile partnership after Louis Vuitton has sent “save-the-date” invites.
The other details are expected at the formal announcement on January 22 at a cocktail party at the Louis Vuitton flagship on Avenue Montaigne in Paris on January 22.

The invite, featuring the outlines of a basketball court with the LV initials in the middle, read: “Michael Burke, chairman, and chief executive officer, Louis Vuitton is pleased to invite you to celebrate the new partnership between Louis Vuitton and NBA.” It also carried the hashtag #LVxNBA.
However, officials at Vuitton declined to reveal further, states a report by Women’s Wear Daily.
The announcement will reportedly be followed by the Charlotte Hornets and the Milwaukee Bucks inaugural NBA regular-season game at the AccorHotels Arena in Paris on January 24. This will be the first NBA game in the French Capital.
Louis Vuitton has a history of sports tie-ups. Some of the iconic deals include the 2019 Davis Cup Trophy, a trophy case for League of Legends, trophy cases for America’s Cup, the FIFA World Cup, the Rugby World Cup, the Roland-Garros tennis trophy.
