Manchester United has two options to choose from, the “snowflake” away kit which takes fans back to the 1990 – 1992 kit, and the third “blue and yellow kit” which has been inspired by their 1993/94 away jersey.
With hosts, Southampton set to wear their traditional red and white striped home kit on Sunday, Manchester United has confirmed that ht Red Devils will wear their “blue and yellow third kit” at St. Mary’s Stadium.
The club posted a statement announcing their decision to don the kit in a statement that read, ” We can reveal that the lads will rock the electrifying blue, yellow and black third strip officially launched last Thursday.
United’s new gear takes inspiration from 1993/94 away shirt, a season in which the Reds ran out comfortable 3-1 winners at the Saints’ old home, The Dell, thanks to goals from Lee Sharpe, Eric Cantona, and Denis Irwin.

The third kit could also not be the only thing United fans would see make an appearance for the first time with the latest recruit Raphael Varna expected to feature for the Red Devils on Sunday.
The 28-year-old defender moved to Manchester after a successful stint at Real Madrid was introduced at Old Trafford before Uniteds’ match against Leeds. Apart from Varane, Jadon Sancho, who made an appearance off the bench last week could also make his full debut for United.
The English international played the last 15 minutes of the Leeds and will be eyeing a spot in the starting 11 as Ole Gunne Solskjaer aims to bag three points on their away trip on Sunday.
