“When I was first approached for the movie I told them once a sportsperson, always a sportsperson. I cannot act and it took a lot of convincing to get me on board. But I have always loved challenges, and I enjoyed this new experience of being in front of the camera too. “
Although a documentary, the film has garnered praises from all over. Bollywood celebrities, cricket stars to Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself have blessed Tendulkar for the success of the movie.

The film is one of the highly anticipated films of the year. However, Sachin feels that watching the film will be an ‘unsettling experience’ for him. “I am used to seeing myself on a big screen inside the stadium, not inside a movie theatre,” he said.
