MI vs RCB, IPL 2021: Yuzvendra Chahal continues a poor run of form, concedes 41 against MI- Royal Challengers Bangalore ace spinner Yuzvendra Chahal failed to shine in his 100th IPL match. He was hammered away for 41 runs in his 4 overs without any breakthrough. MI opening batsman Chris Lynn and SuryaKumar Yadav cashed in off his bowling to provide Mumbai Indians with a good start after the early loss of skipper Rohit Sharma. Chahal needs to do well in the remaining matches for RCB if they are to win IPL 2021 title.

In the recently concluded 3-match T20I series against England in Ahmedabad, Chahal had scalped just 3 wickets.

But, Chahal has good numbers to show in the IPL. He has taken 121 wickets in the cash-rich league, leaking runs at an economy of 7.67. In the last year’s IPL, the right arm leg spinner scalped 21 wickets for RCB.

On Friday, he added another feather to his illustrious cap as he completed 100 games in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Last year, he had scalped 21 wickets in 15 matches for RCB in the cash-rich league.

In the opening match, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and has opted to bowl first against Mumbai Indians in the opening game of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

After the toss, Kohli said that Glenn Maxwell, Kyle Jamieson and Dan Christian will play for RCB in the match. Rajat Patidar has also found a spot in the RCB’s playing XI.
