Mid Season 2021: Riot Games announced that the Mid Season Invitational 2021 will be played on the League of Legends latest patch 11.9. League of Legends Mid Season Invitational 2021 will be starting from 6th May 2021. Riot Games recently added Gwen and Viego in the League of Legends who will not be available in the tournament.

League of Legends patch note 11.9

Riot Games is continuously working to make League of Legends Esports better. According to the scheduled patch, League of Legends patch 11.9 will go live on 28th April 2021. Riot Games didn’t announce the maintenance time which usually begins at 3:00 am PT. In this patch note effect of " Sunfire Aegis" changed, damage dealt to monsters has increased to 150%. Worlds 2020 winner, Damwon Gaming's skins will be available in the game with this patch note. It means new looks for Leona, Jhin, Nidalee, Kennen, and Twisted Fate inspired by Worlds 2020 champions.

Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) 2021

League of Legends Mid Season Invitational 2021 is set to start on 6th May 2021 where 12 teams will participate in the event. Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) 2021 will feature the winners of 12 regional competition of League of Legends. The sixth Mid-Season Invitational will take place during the spring split. MSI 2021 is set to take place in Reykjavik (Capital of Iceland). Last year due to the worldwide pandemic of Covid-19, Mid Season Invitational got cancelled.

Despite the pandemic of Covid-19 and the recent Volcanic eruption, Mid Season Invitational 2021 will be a LAN event. The top 12 teams from all regional leagues around the globe will compete against each other. These 12 teams will be battling for the League of Legends competitive points, and the prize money. It will be so amazing to watch top teams from regional leagues of League of Legends.
