NBA 2020-21: In a tough loss against the Chicago Bulls, Luka Doncic was magnificent. He managed to get another triple-double, scoring 36 points, 15 assists, and 16 rebounds in just 37 minutes. He has now passed Micheal Jordan in the all-time list of triple-doubles.
Doncic was considered a likely MVP candidate going into the new season, and while he struggled early in the Mavs schedule, he’s averaging 30.6 points, 11.6 rebounds and 11.2 assists over the past five games to carry a Dallas team that has recently been struck by a COVID-19 outbreak.

NBA rumors: What kind of offer can Luka Doncic expect in the 2021-22 NBA season?
Doncic will enter his fourth season in the NBA and is tied for the best odds to win MVP in 2020-21 at +450, same with Giannis, the reigning two-time MVP.
Doncic will be in line for a massive pay raise after this season. This offseason, we saw plenty of max extensions. including Jayson Tatum sign a $195 million deal, Utah Jazz offers a massive $195M max contract extension to Donovan Mitchell.
NBA news: Brandon Ingram agreeing to a $158 million contract with the Pelicans, and
Doncic should see a deal similar to those, perhaps slightly higher with incentives, if he wins MVP, makes the All-Star team, and/or an All-NBA team.
