NBA 2020: Minnesota Timberwolves likely to be sold, sale price at massive $1.5 Billion

NBA 2020: The Minnesota Timberwolves has the first pick in the NBA Draft 2020. While the Timberwolves had the 3rd worst record in the Western Conference, owner Glen Taylor hired Raine Group to sell the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Taylor paid $88 million for the team in 1995 put the team on the market earlier this summer. The selling price of the Wolves has been rising because there are various buyers that are interested.

Interested buyers in the team included the Wolves minority owner Meyer Orbach. He is a New Jersey real estate businessman as well as former Wolves star Kevin Garnett. Taylor has rejected an offer of $1.45 billion.

Glen Taylor expects to sell the team for about $1.5 billion due to the increasing interest of the buyers.

The Minnesota Timberwolves can significantly improve their roster now. They have 3 picks in the NBA Draft 2020. They have the 1st, 17th, and the 33rd pick in this year’s NBA Draft.

Taylor said he currently has 12 limited partners and estimated that half of them might sell and the other half would stay in. He has placed the Timberwolves on the market before, only to change his mind later.
