NBA Free Agency 2020: NBA Free Agent Hassan Whiteside could be on the move to the Sacramento Kings, according to Adrian Wojnarowski. He is likely to $2.32 million in 2020-21 NBA season.
Last year, the Kings signed Dewayne Dedmon to a three-year, $40 million deal only to trade him and two second-round picks to the Atlanta Hawks in January.
That deal was made to put them in an optimal situation to re-sign Bogdan Bogdanovic, who signed an offer sheet with the Hawks in free agency.
The Kings signed DeMarcus Cousins after the LA Lakers waived him off in February. They are now looking to bring in another big man.

How will Hassan Whiteside improve the Sacramento Kings’ roster?
Whiteside averaged 15.5 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 2.9 blocks per game in 67 regular-season appearances for the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2019-20 NBA season.
He also had the second-highest net rating on the team behind Zach Collins, who played 1,718 fewer minutes than him in the regular season.
He tends to be a tough player to assess because his stats are always so much more impressive than his overall impact. He could still offer a powerful boost to a Kings team.
The Kings have already lost two centers so far this offseason with Alex Len departing to the Toronto Raptors and Harry Giles heading to the Blazers. Whiteside could be a way to fill the gap in the middle while not overspending.
