The Milwaukee Bucks have decided to boycott Game 5 of their first-round series with the Orlando Magic, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Wojnarowski added that the Bucks made the decision in wake of Jacob Blake, a Black man, being hospitalized after he was shot seven times in the back by police in Kenosha, Wisconsin earlier this week.
The Bucks never took to the court before the game for warmups. The Magic did, but they returned to the locker room shortly before the game was scheduled to tip-off.

When the buzzer sounded in the arena, neither team was on the court.
According to ESPN’s Malika Andrews, “several high ranking league officials” were having conversations outside of the Bucks locker room.
The Bucks would become the first NBA team to boycott a playoff game to protest social injustice.
