WWE NXT RESULTS AND HIGHLIGHTS: NXT kicks off with a video review of last week’s Main Event Match in which Karrion Kross knocked out his opponent Finn Bálor. After that we see the arrival of Adam Cole.

1. Match
Tag Team Match
Dakota Kai & Raquel González vs. Io Shirai & Tony Stark after a power bomb by González against Stark – before González kicked Shirai off the apron

After the match: González and Shirai face each other. Dakota Kai tries to attack Shirai, but Shirai counters the attack. González takes advantage of the distraction and gives Shirai a kick. González then promoted the NXT Womens Champion to the commentary table. Shirai is in a lot of pain.

Video: A security camera shows Adam Cole arriving at a Gracie Jiu-Jitsu training facility. There Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly fought a short fight until several people intervened.

Backstage: McKenzie Mitchell interviews Kyle O’Reilly, but Roderick Strong steps in and says, “We have to go out there and kick his ass.” O’Reilly replies, “Bro, I appreciate that, but there are no more us. It’s a matter between him and me.” Strong replies, “You know what? You and Adam can go to hell!” O’Reilly looks at Mitchell and asks if that answers her question.

In a short promo, LA Knight hyped today’s match against Bronson Reed.

Backstage: Jordan Devlin describes himself as a world-class professional athlete who will face KUSHIDA tonight. “Brother, you’re in the wrong place at the wrong time tonight because I’m going to make an example of you!” Devlin wants to show what he’s capable of before his match against Santos Escobar on NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver.

2. Match
Bronson Reed defeated LA Knight after the tsunami splash.

The commentators brief on Danny Burch’s shoulder injury. Because of this, NXT General Manager had to declare the NXT Tag Team titles vacant. Burch is likely to be out for six months. This situation leads to a three way match between MSK, Grizzled Young Veterans and Legado Del Fantasma on the first NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver night on April 7th. The winners of the match win the NXT Tag Team Champion title.

Video recap: WALTER returned to WWE NXT last week.

3. Match
Karrion Kross (w / Scarlett) defeated Oney Lorcan after a forearm against the back of Lorcan’s head.

After the match: Karrion Kross is delighted with Finn Bálor’s actions last week. When it starts, Bálor can be prepared for something.

Finn Bálor comes out and initially stops in front of the dispatched Oney Lorcan. In the past week, Kross gave everything, but The Prince is still standing. Kross showed his weakness because he showed him his emotions and acts carelessly and is vulnerable in such moments, while the NXT Champ has learned to control his emotions in order to become inviolable in the ring. At NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, Kross has to get his emotions under control, on the other hand, Bálor would make short work of Kross. The segment ends with a power down for both superstars.

Backstage: William Regal announces who will compete against Johnny Gargano for the NXT North American Champions at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver. There will be a 12-Man Battle Royal next week and the last six participants in that Battle Royal will qualify for the Gauntlet Eliminator. The order in which these last six Superstars are eliminated determines the order in which they participate. Two men start in the eliminator and a new participant joins every three minutes. Pinfall or submission will decide the eliminations until only one man remains. The victorious man will face Johnny Gargano on the second night of TakeOver.

Backstage: KUSHIDA is ready and promises a win tonight against Jordan Devlin.

WALTER shows no interest and promptly receives a slap in the face from Ciampa. Thereupon Ciampa is attacked by Aichner and Barthel. WALTER throws Ciampa to the ground with a violent chop and insults him in German. WALTER concludes: “See you at TakeOver!”

Video: Pete Dunne predicts victory in next week’s Battle Royal and the Eliminator to win title gold again at TakeOver.

Earlier Today Video: Robert Stone and Aliyah offer Mercedes Martinez money to act as a tag team partner for Aliyah because their partner Jessi Kamea is out due to an injury. Martinez agrees if she gets the rest of the money right after the match. Aliyah is thrilled, but Stone worries that he doesn’t have any more money.

After the match: KUSHIDA attacks Legado del Fantasma, while Escobar steps into the ring and has a star down with Devlin.

Suddenly the music of Shawn Michaels can be heard. The Heart Break Kid comes out and takes a ladder from under the ring, which he pushes into the ring. So it should be clear that both will contest a ladder match for the NXT Curiserweight Championship at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver.

Confirmed for next week’s WWE NXT:

Roderick Strong vs. Cameron Grimes

William Regal is on stage with Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly as well as security and has the solution to the dispute between Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly. Both will compete against each other in the second NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver Night. In this regard, both will sign a contract immediately and because Kyle O’Reilly has not yet received a medical in-ring clearance, the contract stipulates that neither of the two can take legal action against NXT in the event of a serious breach.

Adam Cole comments on the Undisputed ERA. The group only stopped him and when O’Reilly wanted to include Finn Bálor in the group, he fell out. Cole calls himself the greatest NXT champion and at TakeOver he will leave Undisputed ERA behind forever. Cole signs the contract.

Kyle O’Reilly also looks back on Undisputed ERA. It was clear to them from the start that when they arrived at NXT they would be shocked by the system because they wanted to make a lasting impression. They didn’t care about others. But now O’Reilly thinks differently, because now he has learned to take responsibility for his actions. He has changed over the past few years. What can not be said of Adam Cole, because he is still selfish and exploits his friendships only to profit. At NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, Cole expects the hardest beating of his life.

When O’Reilly grabs the pen to sign the contract, Cole says he’s about to sign his death warrant. When O’Reilly throws the pen at Cole, the latter stands up and moves the table aside. Both rivals shout at each other loudly while they are held back by the security. That ends the show.
