Olympics oldest sponsors Coca Cola cut thousands of jobs after quarterly income decline

Tokyo Olympics: Coca-Cola, the drinks group that is the Olympic Movement’s oldest sponsor, is to cut thousands of jobs as part of a restructuring that will reduce operating units from 17 to nine.

The Atlanta-based company has announced a “voluntary separation program” to be offered first to some 4,000 employees in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
