Bengaluru Bulls’ captain Rohit Kumar is one of the members of the side. It was Rohit Kumar’s brilliant captaincy that helped Bengaluru win the PKL 6 title. Kumar was the first player to cross the 30-point mark in a match when he picked up 32 against U.P. Yoddha in season 5 so far he has scored 670 raid points in 91 games. Rohit Kumar has recorded at least 100 points in every single season since his debut in Season 3. Thus, he is surely one of the prime candidates to be retained.
Pawan Kumar Sehrawat came to the limelight in Pro Kabaddi Season 6 where he finished as the league’s leading point scorer, taking home the MVP Award in the process. The raider’s ability to surprise the defenders — particularly the Ins — with his long reach and lower body strength makes him a unique and potent offensive force on the mat. Pawan has emerged as one of the best raiders in PKL with 360 points in 24 matches in season 7.
Sumit Singh, who made his debut in season 4, has scored 90 points in 37 matches. In season 7, he had the best season with 66 points in 20 matches. He was the third raider for Rohit Kumar’s side. His not out percentage was 71.12 in the seventh season. He can be retained by the Bulls in the next auction.
Vindo Kumar, who started his journey in season 4, did not have a great last two seasons. However, he is a veteran kabaddi player with 61 points in 29 matches. He has the not out percentage is 75.54 %. He can be a great backup raider in case any of the first three raids are out of form or suffering from injury.
Veteran Mahender Singh will be leading the defence for Bulls. Mahender Singh was the most successful Left Cover defender in Season 5 with 57 Tackle Points from 22 games. He scored 10 Tackle Points including 2 Super Tackles against U.P. Yoddha in a Season 5 league stage game. Overall in his career, he has played 67 matches in which he has scored 187 points.
Ashish Kumar Sagwan
Ashish Kumar Sagwan was earlier retained by the Bulls in season 5 ahead of many stars. Their team mangement has faith in him and he has delivered various times. Ashish Kumar was best defender for the Bengaluru Bulls in Season 3 of Pro Kabaddi, scoring 25 tackle points in 13 games. With 37 total points, Kumar was the second highest-scoring defender for the Bengaluru Bulls in Season 4 of Pro Kabaddi. Despite being a defender by trade, Kumar scored more raid points (17) than tackle points (15) in Season 5, showcasing his versatility on both sides of the mat.
