Pat Cummins Profile: Pat Cummins burst onto the international scene as a 17-year old pace bowling prodigy. Immediately, he was seen as a future great. However, injuries put his career in abeyance for some time. But eventually, Cummins came back and lived up to the potential to become among the best bowlers in world cricket. Pat Cummins’ International Debut: Cummins was unveiled by Australia on their tour of South Africa in 2011. His first match was a T20 against the hosts and he soon debuted in the other two formats as well.

Pat Cummins’ Test Record: Cummins picked up a 6-fer in his debut Test and also hit the winning runs in a tense chase. But then, due to injuries, he had to stay away from the longest format for a while. But when he returned, in 2017, he again looked like set for glory and has gone on to become the no. 1 ranked bowler in Test cricket.

Pat Cummins’ ODI Record: Cummins has played in World Cups and World T20s and made an impact. He has been a very reliable bowler for Australia in the 50-over format and manages to bowl tidy spells and get wickets even in unhelpful conditions. While he hasn’t been as flamboyant as Mitchell Starc, he is as important to his team as anyone else.

Pat Cummins’ T20 Record: Being a complete bowler, the New South Welshman has succeeded in T20 format also. He is one of the few bowlers who don’t need helpful conditions to be effective.

Pat Cummins’ IPL Record: Cummins played in the 2014 and 2015 seasons but didn’t get much of an opportunity. In 2017, playing for Delhi Daredevils, he benefitted from a wicket with true bounce to raise his performance level. His next season – 2020 – wasn’t as good but he remains one of the most sought-after bowlers in all formats.
