The Portuguese Football Federation has announced the signing Sacoor Brothers as the official football partner for the Cristiano Ronaldo-led national team.
The Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) has announced a partnership with the country-based fashion label Sacoor Brothers. The fashion brand Sacoor Brothers, headquartered in Lisbon, will serve as the official fashion partner of the Portuguese national football team.
The deal will run through to 2020 and will cover all players, team coaches, entourage, technical staff, management and administration involved with the team.
The move comes after the announcement made by the governing body of football in Portugal this week that it is launching its own television broadcast channel ‘11’ by next year.
The Portugal squad led by Cristiano Ronaldo is continuously adding to its heroics both on and off the field i.e. performance on the pitch and commercial conversion off the field.
FPF president Fernando Gomes said, “Sacoor Brothers, like FPF, is a brand that is both Portuguese and international. We will build a relationship of trust, competence and mutual respect between the two major national institutions.”
Ronaldo stunned Morocco by 1-0 with a goal in 4th minute yesterday at the Luzhniki stadium, bringing the African nation’s FIFA World Cup 2018 campaign virtually to an end. He is consistently leading by an example after a 3-3 draw in a high octane group opener match against Spain last week where he scored all the goals himself.
Portugal will now face Iran in their last group game on June 25, Monday.
