Both Aubameyang and Lacazette missed Arsenal’s season opener against Brentford due to illness. The duo was majorly missed on Friday by the Gunners as they slumped to a 2-0 defeat on the opening in the first match of the new Premier League campaign.
Aubameyang is also said to be interested in a move away after a challenging last season. Despite signing a new contract last year, the Gabon international could partway with the Emirates outfit.

Lacazette on the other end is a player Arsenal is keen to get off their books. The Gunners were reported to have offered the French star to AS Roma earlier last week. The 30-year-old is his last year on contract. Arsenal could look to sell him in the summer rather than seeing him leave on a free transfer.
Barca manager looking for new options
FC Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman is keen on bringing in a new striker to the club. He already has the likes of Memphis Depay, Ousmane Dembele, Ansu Fati Antoine Griezmann to play up top across various positions in the attack.
Despite having such quality players and signing Sergio Aguero in the ongoing transfer window, the former Holland head coach is keen on making more additions upfront. However, the Balungana outfit will have to sell off Martin Braithwaite for a sizeable fee before they bring in others.
The La Liga side has been going through some financial struggles and is in no condition to afford a transfer fee for either Aubameyang or Lacazette.
They will be forced to involve a player or sell off one of their stars in order to make room in their wage bill for the incoming additions. It remains interesting to see the seriousness of interest from FC Barcelona for the Arsenal duo as they look to challenge for the LaLiga title this season.
