Premier League has launched Invitation to Tender to extend the international broadcast rights for Australia, New Zealand and various Asian territories and further expand its international rights sales.
Initial bids for the rights to top division English club football must be submitted by the end of April for Australia and New Zealand, and the first week of May for the Asian territories.
In Hong Kong, Indonesia and East Timor, Malaysia and Brunei, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia and Laos, broadcasters only can bid for individual or multiple territories for either three-season (2019-20 to 2021-22) or six-season terms (2019-20 to 2024-25).
The tender for Japan, Mongolia, Myanmar, Pacific Islands, Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam is open to broadcasters and agencies for individual or multiple territories across the three-season term from 2019-20 to 2021-22.
Broadcasters in Australia and New Zealand can bid for an individual territory, or for both, across the same three-season term.
