Premier League Points Table and Results: Chelsea vs Everton: Chelsea’s unbeaten run under Tuchel goes on after a 2-0 win over Everton. They win their 14th match of the league and climb to the 4th spot, just 3 points behind Leicester.

Thomas Tuchel made 5 big changes to the side that won against Liverpool. He brought in Kurt Zouma, Kovacic, Alonso, Hudson-Odoi, and Havertz in place of Rudiger, Chilwell, Kante, Mount, and Ziyech

Chelsea gain the lead with an Everton own goal

Chelsea started the game really well and put their pressure on from the start. Marcus Alonso got in front of Holgate as he squared it back to the six-yard box where Havertz flicked it on.

Havertz shot the ball which was blocked by Godfrey but unfortunately its hits him and gets deflected into his own net. There was nothing Pickford could do as Chelsea got the lead in the 31st minute.

Chelsea doubles their lead

Havertz was through on goal as Pickford came forward. He slyly took it around the English keeper who tried to gather the ball but ended up fouling the German instead in the penalty box.

The referee was quick to point towards the spot in the 64th minute.

Jorginho stepped up to take the penalty as he used his trademark hop just before he struck the ball into the bottom-left corner, sending Pickford in the wrong direction, to double Chelsea’s lead.
