Premier League: Manchester City FC vs Tottenham Hotspur: Head to head; Probable Playing XI; Match Details; MCFC vs THFC Live Streaming details-

Manchester City are in unbelievable form. They are unbeaten in their last 14 Premier League matches. Pep Guardiola’s men last lost in the Premier League in November against Tottenham Hotspur and on Saturday they will face the same opponent at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester.

Every time Guardiola faces Jose Mourinho, it is always a tactical battle. Since Guardiola’s Barcelona days, the rivalry between him and his former colleague has only grown over the years. On Saturday when he faces Mourinho’s Spurs, he will have his task cut out. Spurs are two of the only teams to beat City in the Premier League this season. But he will ride on a massive run-of-form that stretches to 22 games across tournaments. In the last one week alone, City thrashed Liverpool 4-1 at Anfield and got the better of Swansea in the FA Cup.

Spurs, though, have been inconsistent. But with top-4 positions still up for grabs, Mourinho will look to hit top form. Man City are top of the table with 50 points from 22 games, five points clear of second-placed Manchester United who have played a game extra. Spurs are struggling at the eighth place with 36 points from 22 games.

Manchester City FC vs Tottenham Hotspur –

Form guide: Manchester City (WWWW): City have won all five of their last matches, scoring 14 goals in the process. They have conceded just two goals and have kept three clean sheets.

Tottenham Hotspur (WLLLW): Mourinho’s men have lost three of their last five games in the Premier League and have won just two. After a loss to Everton in the FA Cup on Thursday, the Portuguese coach’s job will be on the line. In those five games, Spurs have scored and conceded six goals each.

Manchester City FC vs Tottenham Hotspur-

Head-to-head record: The game between City and Spurs will be evenly poised as in the last five meetings, both have won two and lost two with the other one ending in a draw. But that the Cityzens have lost last of their two encounters against Spurs, it could have a psychological impact on the players.

Attack and defence: City are known for their attacking prowess. But they haven’t been at their attacking best despite scoring 43 goals this season in 22 Premier League matches. One reason is Aguero, who hasn’t been at his best. But the team has had help from midfielder Ilkay Gundogan (9) and winger Rahim Sterling (8) in the Premier League. But in defence, they have been the best club in the UK, conceding just 14 goals the entire league.

Spurs, however, will have a lot of work to do. Despite having one of the best-attacking units on paper, Spurs haven’t lived up to the expectations. Gareth Bale, Son Heung-min and Harry Kane combined have scored 35 goals in this season across all competitions but they will need everyone at their top form to penetrate City defence. Their defence, however, has been decent but will be tested against a high-flying City. But if Mourinho once again plans to park the bus, the outcome could be different.

Tottenham: South Korean forward, Son Heung-min, has been a revelation with 16 goals and 11 assists this season across tournaments. He is followed by Harry Kane with 16 goals and 13 assists. But they have been inconsistent.

Probable XI: Manchester City: GK: Ederson; Defenders: Joao Cancelo, Ruben Dias (doubtful), John Stones, Kyle Walker; Midfielders: Ilkay Gundogan, Phil Foden, Bernardo Silva; Forwards: Riyad Mahrez, Gabriel Jesus, Raheem Sterling.
