Premier League: Mikel Arteta heckled by Arsenal fans after Chelsea defeat- A small section of angry Arsenal supporters made themselves heard to Mikel Arteta following the Gunners’ second successive loss in the Premier League. The Emirates outfit went silent as Thomas Tuchel’s’ side recorded a comfortable win at the London Derby over the weekend.

Following the final whistle, few Arsenal fans approached Arteta by his car and stopped the Spaniard from leaving the Stadium on Sunday. A small clip has been going viral on social media which captures a group of Arsenal fans surrounding Arteta’s car and shouting at the Spaniard, asking him to leave the club.

Trying to make themselves heard, the fans were recorded shouting “Arteta, do yourself a favour and leave the club” before the security guards made way for the Spanish tactician’s car to drive off.

The Gunners have recorded the worst start in their 118-year-old history after failing to pocket a single point in their first two matches. They have not only failed to pick up any points but have also been incapable of scoring any goals against Brentford and Chelsea.

Citing the current issues at the club, fans expressed their feelings towards the manager and the players. The club supporters were also heard booing their own players during the match while approaching the manager directly by his car.

The Gunners have a tough round of fixtures coming following a string of poor losses. The Gunner will take an away trip to the Hawthorns and lock horns with West Brom in the EFL Cup. They get back into the Premier League action on Saturday when Mikel Arteta will square off against Manchester City. The Emirates side will be hoping to tighten their screws and get the team firing all cylinders before the critical round of fixtures until next week.
