Premier League: Pep Guardiola hands Jack Grealish important note after Man City win – Check out –Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was handed a note by a young fan after Man City’s Premier League match. The Spanish tactician played the role of a messenger for Grealish after his teams’ 5-0 win over Norwich on Saturday.
The former FC Barcelona head coach was handed a thank you note by a young English football fan who was recently in the news after he received Jack Grealish’s boots earlier in the summer.
Jack Grealish, who played for the Three Lions in the Euro 2020 had caught up with the fan after losing the final against Italy. Despite suffering from a massive heartbreak in the penalty shootout, the 25-year-old attacker obliged the fan by meeting up with him and gifting him his boots.
Fans were all praises for Grealish for his noble act of meeting his young fan with the same youngster getting yet another treat from the 25-year-old attacker.
The young football fan was also in attendance during Manchester Citys’ league clash against Norwich. He got to witness Jack Grealish score on his home debut at the Etihad Stadium.
The fan has gone viral on social media once again as he was seen interacting with Pep Guardiola after the match.
He is seen waiting above the Man City’s dugout within touching distance of Pep Guardiola and his team members.
The fan successfully reached out to the Spaniard after calling him out a number of times and handing him a thank you note for Jack Grealish.
Apart from the “thank you note”, Grealish had a lot to be happy on the night for following a fantastic outing at the Etihad on Saturday.
The 25-year-old was on the receiving end of a low cross as he somehow managed to slot the ball into the back of the net. He scored Man City’s second goal of the night doubling their lead as Guardiola’s men ran rampant going on to record a massive 5-0 win.
Speaking about Grealish’s performance after the match, Man City manager Pep Guardiola demanded the former Aston Villa star to score more. Pep used Raheem Sterling as a prime example calling out Grealish to act more and more like his fellow countrymen.
The Spainard was quoted saying, “The goal was okay. Hopefully, he can do more but the most important thing is the first victory.
“If Jack has the mentality like Raheem, he can do it. When I arrived here five years ago, Raheem didn’t have a goal in his mind. That changed.
“Today Raheem scored a goal because he arrived in the central position like a No9. He is a machine there. He changed his mind and decided he is going to score, score, score.”
